MAGELLAN is a midlate tetraploid variety, registered in Germany 2009.
MAGELLAN shows high yield in the second year and high yield in the subsequent cuts. MAGELLAN has a medium to high protein yield.
The high yield performance is combined in MAGELLAN with high persistance and disease resistance. The low susceptibility to clover canker and very low suceptibility to mildew are further attributes of the new clover.
The high yield of MAGELLAN in the second year and its weed supression potential are most beneficiary for the grower.
