Forage peas for green manure and silage

Both varieties have been succesfully listed and registered in Germany.

AKOJA has white flowers and is relatively early flowering. The variety is characterized at the very young stage by a relatively fast and leafy growth type which ensures a quick establishment and effective weeds suppression. AKOJA combines medium-long straw with a relatively high lodging resistance. AKOJA is suitable for single crop cultivation and also for mixtures with cereals. The seed is without tannins and therefore suitable for feeding pigs and poultry. The seed colour is yellow with a black hile.

DOLORES is a maple pea and has coloured flowers. The variety combines a fast development and high production of biomass at the very young stages which allows the production of a relatively dense canopy, suppressing weeds. Dry matter at harvest stage is high. DOLORES has a long straw and good resistance to lodging and can be grown as pure crop as well as in mixtures with cereals.
