FUTURA

FUTURAlvc

The future is now.

  • High to very high protein yield.
  • Significantly reduced vicine/convicine content enables higher proportions in the feed ration of poultry and pigs and also makes FUTURAlvc attractive for human consumption.
  • Longer plant type with higher set pods ensures low-loss harvesting.
  • Certified-seed is expected to be available for sowing 2025.

FUTURAlvc – the result of 40 years of breeding progress.

FUTURAlvc transfers the breeding progress of the last decades into practice and delivers excellent protein yields for trough and plate.

In addition to a high grain yield, FUTURAlvc is characterized by a high to very high protein yield, which has been confirmed by the German Federal Plant Variety Office with a grade of 8. With a genetically secured, significantly reduced vicine and convicine content, a higher proportion in the feeding ration is possible, especially for poultry and monogastric animals. In addition to animal feed, varieties with high protein content and reduced vicine and convicine content are considered to have greater potential for use in human consumption. The agronomically higher plant type enables a rapid harvest with low threshing losses, thanks to higher set pods.
